The fine print
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what Queuepage (operated by queuepageapp) collects, why, and — just as important — what we never do with it.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email, and billing details when you subscribe.
- Signup data: the names and emails that visitors leave on your waitlist pages. This data belongs to you, not to us.
- Usage data: pages viewed, buttons clicked, and device/browser information, used to keep the platform fast and fix bugs.
- Support data: transmissions you send through the contact form or by email.
Your list is not our product
We do not sell signup data — not yours, not your subscribers', not ever. We do not buy data about your subscribers, we do not advertise to your list, and we do not build profiles across customers' pages. Signup data is processed solely to run your queue: counting positions, sending the notifications you configured, and displaying the public counter you chose to publish.
What we do with account data
- Deliver your activation code and service emails (receipts, renewals, security notices).
- Process payments through our payment processor; we never store full card numbers.
- Send our optional monthly newsletter, "The Countdown", if you subscribed — unsubscribe anytime with one click.
- Meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for cart and preference storage, described in the Cookie Policy. You can decline non-essential cookies from the banner on any page.
Sharing
We share data only with the subprocessors required to run the service — payment processing, email delivery, and hosting — each bound by data-processing agreements. We disclose data to authorities only when legally compelled, and we notify you when the law allows.
Retention and deletion
Account data is kept while your account is active. Signup data is kept until you delete it or close your account; exports you download are yours to keep. Backups roll off within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CPRA.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to personnel who need it, and queue counters are append-only by design. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you promptly.
